Construction of the new food stand in the Union United Church of Christ grove in Neffs is well underway.
Mild weather and rain free days enabled carpenters, concrete installers, electricians, plumbers, and others to make good progress on the building project.
Roofing contractors and masons will be the next workers on the scene.
The food stand will be ready for the many church activities next summer, including the annual Blues Nite Out and the Upper Lehigh Lions Club festival and craft show.
If you noticed scaffolding on the church roof recently, it was in place for removal and replacement of the chimney.
