In just a week from now, we’ll be preparing for a feast of gratitude. Take the time to say thank you to the people around you who are blessings in your life. And, say a prayer for those who will not be able to celebrate Thanksgiving this year.

St. Peter’s Lynnville UCC will be having an Advent Fest Nov. 19, following the church service at 9:30 a.m.

This year, each family will make a Blessings Jar from a painted Mason jar.

Call the church at 610-298-8064 if you plan to attend so there will be a jar for each family. Light refreshments will be available. There will be a Thanksgiving Eve service at 7 p.m. Nov. 22.

The clothing closet at Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, will be open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 16. Clothing is available for the entire family. Take as much as needed. Proof of need not required.

There are plenty of sweaters and winter apparel in stock.
