We asked the candidates the following question - What can you do as mayor for the Macungie residents?

After living in Macungie for 37 years and raising two boys here, there is nothing more I want for our town than securing the joys we have experienced here for future generations. To help achieve this, I am excited to represent and promote Macungie and unify our citizens for common goals because we can always do more together than any one person alone. Let’s strive to see small businesses return, take pride in our properties and take our charismatic community to the next level.

Republican Ronald Conrad

There seems to be a real disconnect between the residents and borough council. While walking around town I found that most residents are against or did not know about some projects that have been done and are being done in town. They feel as if they have no say in how their money is spent. If elected I will help give the residents a voice, it is their town and they should be heard. I will help to see that you get the best bang for your buck when we spend your hard earned tax money. I will be approachable and open to all ideas. Macungie is a wonderful town and my home for the last 31 years and I would be honored to serve as your mayor.
