•Money for shipping costs. Please make checks payable to: Keystone Military Families

Monetary donations are needed to help us ship the care packages. This is always the biggest need by far. Shipping costs have increased and it doesn’t matter how much “stuff” we have if we don’t have money to ship it. There are thousands of Troops who are counting on us to send them some love and cheer from home! In November and December 2016, we shipped 7,620 stockings to Troops all over the world.

Please note:

•The U.S. Postal Service regulations do not allow anything in aerosol cans to be shipped.

•Shipping currently takes about 14 to 21 days to the combat zones. It takes us about a week to get everything sorted and boxed. Please keep this in mind when you are checking expiration dates on food items.

•We are currently not accepting any books.

Thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Galbraith at 610-740-0944, ext. 3705. Items can be delivered to our office, 1633 N. 26th St., Allentown, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

LVHN

Lehigh Valley Health Network will administer free seasonal flu vaccinations for adults and children six months and older during two community sessions in November.

Shots will be drive-thru at Dorney Park Nov. 4 and at Coca-Cola Park Nov. 5. Shots will be offered 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Online registration is offered. Slots are available for either the morning or afternoon sessions both days.

A vaccine information statement, consent form, link to online registration and maps of both locations are available at lvhn.org/flushot.

A completed and signed 2017-2018 consent form is required for each individual receiving a flu shot.

Those planning to receive a flu shot are asked to review the vaccine information sheet and bring a completed 2017-2018 consent form for each person to be vaccinated. Forms are available on the website lvhn.org/flushot, or requested by calling 888-402-LVHN (5846).
