Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, will host a Trick or Treat Community Party 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28. Treats and beverages for all ages will be available in the outside pavilion.

Jacob’s Church, 8373 Kings Highway, Jacksonville, Lynn Township, will host its annual oyster supper 3-7 p.m. Nov. 4

There will be fried oyster platters, fried shrimp platters, steamed shrimp, raw oysters, oyster stew and pie, fresh cut fries, turkey barbecue, pepper cabbage.

Desserts, including old-fashion lemon strip, coconut cream and fruit, along with cakes, will be available.

Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association will host a basket bingo Oct. 29 at the Lynnport Fire Hall, 7164 Behler St., Lynnport.

Doors open 1 p.m. Bingo starts at 2 p.m.

There will be hostess raffles, three specials and a Chinese auction.

All bingo prizes are filled with goodies.

There will be door prizes and also several free raffles.

Bring a canned good or a pair of socks and receive a free raffle ticket. There is a maximum of five tickets per person.

Canned goods will be donated to the Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry. Socks will be donated in the memory of Sylvia Koenig, Sylvia’s Socks, to benefit the Blessings Shop at the Food Pantry.

Come in costume to be entered in the costume raffle.

Proceeds from this bingo will help to fund teacher mini grants, which are awarded through the education foundation to benefit students throughout the Northwestern School District.

Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 1343 Long Lane Road, Krumsville, is hosting a lasagna dinner and presenting the play “The Conundrum on the Crackerjack Cruise” to benefit Wyatt Newhard 6-9:30 p.m. Nov. 11.

Wyatt, 13, has been battling cancer since he was 3.
