Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will honor veterans with several events during Veterans Awareness Week in November.

The LCCC Veterans Club will present a bingo night, 6 - 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9, main campus, Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township.

There will be food for purchase and a bake sale courtesy of the college’s Phi Theta Kappa Club.

Proceeds benefit the Veterans Homeless Coalition.

A Veterans Day flag ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at the flagpole outside the Student Services Center.

Staff, students, area veterans and members of the community are encouraged to support the college’s veterans and participate in the flag ceremony.
