State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Alexandria A. Haas, 25, of Slatington, was driving a 2012 Subaru Legacy 12:08 a.m. Oct. 1 along Holbens Valley Road, Weisenberg Township, when the car struck a guide rail.

According to police, Haas was eastbound on Holbens Valley Road, just east of Winding Road, when she lost control of the car and it struck the right guide rail with its right side.

After the impact, the car became disabled at Carpet and Holbens Valley roads.

Police say Haas left the car at that location and left the scene, police say.

Haas, who was wearing her seat belt, was not injured.
