District news: Homecoming events are scheduled
The high school’s Homecoming is this week. The Homecoming bonfire is set for 6-9 p.m. tonight, Oct. 19; the Homecoming football game is Oct. 20; and the Homecoming dance will be Oct. 21.

Red Ribbon Week is scheduled for next week - Oct. 23-27. Red Ribbon Week is in support of Say No to Drugs and Alcohol.
There are many activities planned throughout the elementary schools. Students and staff will be participating in daily school spirit days.
On Monday, everyone is encouraged to wear red. For the rest of the week, each building will hold its own special activities. Please check agendas or look at your child’s school website for his or her schedule.

The middle school’s hat day and candid photo day is set for Oct. 27. Plan on joining the fun and showing school spirit!

The end of the first marking period is approaching fast - Nov. 1. Please stay in touch with your child and your child’s teachers to contribute to their educational success.

Homework requests can be supplied if your child is absent from school for three or more days. Parents must call the school to make the request.
Homework must be picked up in the main office before 4 p.m.

The elementary schools continue to participate in General Mills’ BoxTops for Education collection program. Each BoxTop is redeemed for a cash reward, which is used for students’ activities. Each school has its own goals.
Just trim the BoxTops and periodically send them into school with your child.

It’s important to update phone numbers, addresses, medical records and emergency student information for your child. Visit update.whitehallcoplay.org.
A PIN number for your child’s student ID number was included in a letter that was sent in the mail in August.
