Oct. 18

Emmaus Historical Society program 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Parish Hall, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody will guide the audience down the untamed frontier trail, talk about his exciting adventures as a Pony Express rider, Army scout, bison hunter and internationally acclaimed showman. The program is free to members and non-members.

Oct. 19

Lehigh Carbon Community College will host Lance Hawk, a certified computer security professional, who will speak on The Big Three Cyber Threats and Risks: Data Breaches, Ransomware and the “Internet of Things” 7 p.m. Hawk’s presentation will focus on discussion of the top three cyber threats and risks targeting businesses and individuals from a top computer forensics and IT security expert. The event will be held in the technology center, Room 202, at the college’s main campus in Schnecksville. This event is free and open to the public. Mother-Son Halloween Party for boys ages four to 12 years 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center. To register, call or go to the community center 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or call 610-966-6924.

Oct. 21

Quakertown Farmers Market will mark its 85th anniversary with a fall festival 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free and will feature a hay maze, magician, Halloween-themed prizes, music performances, trick-or-treat, a Halloween costume contest and a best dressed pet contest.

All-you-can-eat breakfast 7 to 11 a.m. at Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville. There is a charge; children under six are free. For more information, call Darlene at 610-966-5115.

The Upper Milford Historical Society hosts historians Margaret and Carl Harner in a program titled “Ghost Stories of Haunted Boyertown” 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township municipal building, Old Zionsville. For information, call 610-966-4376.
