The genealogy library at the Weisenberg Lowhill Historical Society, 4585 Werleys Corner Road, New Tripoli, invites the community to visit 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 14.
Bring a bag lunch and beverage, along with your laptop. Wi-Fi is available to do research into your local roots.
If you don’t have a computer, come anyway. Help is available.

There will be a hub of activity at the historical society from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 3; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 4; and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 5.
Members of the society will present “Work of Our Hands” opening with a wine and snacks reception Nov. 3 and featuring the artists Nov. 4 and 5.
Featured will be Gene Allen, landscape painter of the local area; Russell Dotterer, woodworker; Jennifer Lynn Fink, Fraktur and photography; Alida Phillips, card making and paper crafting; Jennifer Phillips, pottery; Jeanne Stock, pastel painting; Debra L. Zvanut, basket weaving and decorative fused glass; and historical society quilters.
