Fall is Here! Get your pumpkins, apples and hayrides going!

This is one of the best seasons for our area when Lynn Township really gets to shine.

St. Peter’s UCC, Lynnville will have a harvest party 5:30 p.m. Oct. 14.

Pumpkin carving and other fun games will be offered.

There will also be pizza and snacks; and marshmallows to roast over the campfire.

If you are interested in attending, call the church at 610-298-8064 and leave a message.

They need a “pumpkin head count” to make sure everyone who wants to carve a pumpkin will have one.

Family Fun Night is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Oct. 21.

Bring a snack to share and enjoy a relaxing night of cards, fellowship and children friendly games.

Ebenezer Closet at Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, will be open 6-8 p.m. Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 14.

Clothing is available for the entire family.

Take as much as needed. Proof of need not required.

Lots of sweaters and winter apparel are in stock.

There will be a Trick or Treat Community Party 6-8 p.m. Oct. 28 at Ebenezer.

Treats and beverages for all ages will be avaiable in the outside pavilion.

Jacob’s Church, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, will host its annual oyster supper 3-7 p.m. Nov. 4 in the activity center which is handicapped accessible.

They will be serving fried oyster platters, fried shrimp platters, steamed shrimp, raw oysters, oyster stew, oyster pie, fresh cut fries, turkey barbecue and pepper cabbage.

Cakes and pies, including old fashion lemon strip, coconut cream and fruit pies will be available.
