Firefighters learn dangers of working with live wires

State Reps. Gary Day, R-187th, and Zachary Mako, R-183rd, sponsored a “Live Wires” training Sept. 7 at the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company.

Special trainers from PPL Electric Utilities brought mock-ups of poles, transformers, fuse boxes and miscellaneous materials in order to introduce firefighters to the dangers of working around electrical emergencies.
