State Rep. Gary Day, R-187th, invites senior citizens age 55 and older, family members and caregivers to learn more about services and programs available to them at two upcoming senior fairs.

The first is Day’s annual Senior Fair 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Kutztown Fire Company, 310 Noble St., Kutztown.

In addition to information tables and representatives from local, state and federal governments, and private agencies, the event will include door prizes and free refreshments.

Free flu shots will be provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network, and there will be free blood pressure checks.

The second Senior Information Fair, which Day will co-host with state Sen. Pat Browne, R-16th, will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 12 at Country Meadows, Building 4, 410 North Krocks Road, Upper Macungie Township.

This senior fair will also include free flu shots provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network, door prizes and free blood pressure checks.
