An 82-year-old Kempton man was involved in a boating incident at 7:54 a.m. Sept. 30 at Leaser Lake, 8502 Pleasure Court, New Tripoli, Lynn Township.

Lehigh County Chief Deputy Coroner Andrew H. Kehm said Kenneth E. Gorsuch was pronounced dead at 10:12 a.m. the same day in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Lehigh County First Deputy Coroner Eric Minnich told The Press Oct. 4, the cause of Gorsuch’s death was drowning and it was ruled an accident.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
