‘Symphony On Ice’ back at PPL Center
The Lehigh Valley’s favorite new holiday tradition, “Symphony On Ice,” is sure to put the whole family in the holiday spirit at 7 p.m. Dec. 14, PPL Center, Allentown.
Showcasing the arts and Lehigh Valley community organizations, “Phantoms Charities Presents Symphony On Ice” will feature the award-winning Allentown Symphony Orchestra and performances by local choirs and members of the Penguin Skating Club.
This year, Phantoms Charities presented by Air Products will be the presenting sponsor of “Symphony On Ice.” Ticket proceeds will be donated to Phantoms Charities. Phantoms Charities will sell a limited number of rink-side tables that include a full dinner.
“On the heels of the success of last year’s ‘Symphony On Ice’ event, Jim and I are thrilled to once again showcase the arts in the Lehigh Valley community by bringing together the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, local choirs, and figure skating groups for an exciting performance that has become an annual tradition. We believe this is a great way to support the strong arts community we have here in the Lehigh Valley and we hope that this event can expand the reach and viewership of one of the Valley’s great assets: The Allentown Symphony,” said Rob Brooks, co-owner, BDH Development.
“We’re even more excited to announce that all ticket sales proceeds for Symphony On Ice will be donated to Phantoms Charities in order to continue to strengthen and improve the lives of children and adults in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities,” added Jim Brooks, co-owner, BDH Development.
“We are happy to be continuing our partnership with PPL Center, Phantoms Charities, the Bethlehem Penguins and area high schools in bringing to the community a spectacular annual event of ‘Symphony on Ice,’” said Sheila Evans, Executive Director of the Allentown Symphony Association. “Who knows what surprises this year’s show has in store.”
