Dr. Nicole Schneck graduated from the University of Maryland Dec. 21, 2016, with a Ph.D. in chemistry.

Schneck’s dissertation focused on the “Development of Magnetic Nanoparticle-based Enrichment Techniques and Mass Spectrometry Methods for Quantification of the Clinical Biomarker Cardiac Troponin I.”

Schneck is the daughter of Janie and Terry Schneck of Cresco.

She is the granddaughter of Mary Lou and Robert Schneck of Schnecksville, and Sherwood Hunsicker of White Haven, previously of Friedens and the late Alice Hunsicker.

Schneck is working at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland.
