A student at Salisbury High School reported 2:45 p.m. Aug. 31 the vandalism of a car in the school parking lot.

A resident on Voortman Avenue reported 5 p.m. Sept. 1, three juveniles were on the street attempting to open car doors. The juveniles were not found by police.

A resident in the 500 block of East Federal Street reported 12:19 p.m. Sept. 3, a mailbox on the property was dented.

A resident in the 2000 block of Cypress Avenue reported 1:30 p.m. Sept. 3, a mailbox on the property was dented.

Two rear tires were slashed on a vehicle parked in the 900 block of East Paoli Street. The incident was reported 10:25 a.m. Sept. 6. The damage was valued at $200.

An unknown person entered two unlocked vehicles at Sheffield Square Apartments, 1705 S. Albert St. Nothing was taken. The incidents were reported 8:52 a.m. Aug. 31.

Kay Jewelers, 3300 Lehigh St., reported 11 a.m. Sept. 1, a woman with a Philadelphia address, applied for a line of credit using a victim’s name and was approved for a $10,000 line of credit. She purchased $4,769 of merchandise. Later that day, Kay Jewelers received a fraud alert; the same woman attempted to make purchases at a Kay Jewelers in Philadelphia.

A resident in the 3000 block of Lindberg Avenue reported 4:16 p.m. Sept. 8, receiving a call saying a grandson was in jail. The resident was instructed to go to Walmart and send $2,290 in addition to a $20 fee which was completed. The caller was contacted again and was informed the grandson’s charges were changed and additional money needed to be sent. The resident instead called the grandson who said he was fine. No additional money was sent.

A resident in the 900 block of Paoli Street reported the theft of a vehicle 9:23 a.m. Sept. 2. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys in it. While the officer was taking the information, the car was found on Gilmore Street. According to security cameras, the car was dropped off 4:30 a.m.

Glen Acker, 35, of Emmaus, was charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, general lighting requirement and driving while under the influence of a controlled substance following a traffic stop in the 1800 block of East Susquehanna Street 11:18 p.m. Sept. 2. Acker was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Ravinder Singh, 22, of Easton, was charged with alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance following a traffic stop in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue, 11:42 p.m. Sept. 3. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Brandon Price, 27, of Hazleton, will be charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance following an incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 4:35 p.m. Sept. 3.

Ryan Velazquez-Koller, 22, of Salisbury, was charged with alleged theft by unlawful taking and taking and receiving stolen property following the theft of a ring from a property in the 1600 block of Seidersville Road 5:57 p.m. Sept. 3. The ring was valued at $1,800 and discovered in a pawn shop. Velazquez-Koller was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 10 block of East Pine Street reported 4:50 p.m. Sept. 4, the theft of squash and pumpkins from the garden.

A resident in the 800 block of Elizabeth Street reported 5:29 p.m. Sept. 13, the theft of a potted plant from a home.

Jeffrey Bergh, 26, of Bethlehem, was reported missing 1:35 p.m. Sept. 5 from a facility in the 1600 block of Riverside Drive. Bergh is a white male, 5 feet, six inches and weighs approximately 150 pounds with a medium build, light complexion and black hair. Anyone knowing of Bergh’s location is urged to call Det. Kevin Kress at 610-797-1447.

Willie Barham, 44, of Allentown, was charged with allegedly carrying a firearm without a license following a traffic stop in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue 6:54 p.m. Sept. 13.

Alberto Clark, 27, of Lansdale, was charged with alleged theft by deception and receiving stolen property, after funds were reported missing from Morgenland Cemetery 11:39 a.m. Aug. 16. The loss is valued at $4,200.

A 32-year-old woman, of Tamaqua, will be charged with alleged identity theft and theft of services after allegedly providing false information to law enforcement at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 3:30 a.m. Aug. 10. The loss was $4,130.24.

Police were called to the 1000 block of Buckingham Drive, 3:10 p.m. Sept. 1 for a burglar alarm.

Police were called to the 1800 block of Nottingham Road, 2:02 p.m. Sept. 2 for a burglar alarm.
