In the Sept. 6 issue of The Press, it was reported Alburtis Borough Council received a bid to remove the playground of adventure when they had actually received a bid to remove a tree on the playground of adventure.

In the Sept. 13 issue of The Press, in the Lower Macungie Township Board of Commissioners report, Finance Manager for the Lower Macungie Library Susan K. Nenstiel, MBA, provided a report to the commissioners on what the library is planning to do. The addition and renovation of the existing space is being paid by the township with the support of a Keystone Grant through Commonwealth Libraries of PA. Nenstiel listed items the library is raising money for which includes furniture, shelving television screens, a new telephone system, and hardware necessary to accommodate additional IT needs. The library has not begun to raise money in the community.
