New bethel

New Bethel Church, 135 New Bethel Church Road, Kempton, will have a 5k Walk/Run along the rural roads in the community. The 5K will take place Sept. 30 at the church. Participants may register the day of the race from 8-8:45 a.m. Race begins 9 a.m. The first 100 to register will receive a swag bag from race sponsors.

All proceeds from the race will benefit the church and Beth’s Gifts Children’s Memorial Fund which aids children and families suffering from cancer. The late Beth Kleibscheidel, a parishioner at the church, lost her life to cancer.
