The Lehigh Valley Fiber Festival will take place 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 24 at Wildlands Conservancy Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus.

The “From Farm to Finish” theme will be highlighted via a variety of indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces designed to show how locally produced and sourced wools, fibers and natural materials can be transformed into an amazing blend of decorative and functional wares, unique apparel and more.

There will be a variety of workshops, live demonstrations, children’s crafts and presentations, book signings, acoustic music performances by artists such as Dave Fry and delicious offerings from area food trucks.

This free event will also feature 30 artisans showcasing aisles of handcrafted works focused on natural yarns, dyed fabric, quilting, knitted finished pieces in a wide range of fiber media, offering something for professional artists and serious hobbyists, as well as members of the public looking for a unique experience blending the best of art and nature.
