Lehigh Carbon Community College’s (LCCC) Foundation has rescheduled its 24th annual Golf Classic at Lehigh Country Club, Allentown, for Sept. 25. The event, originally scheduled for Aug. 7, was postponed because of inclement weather.

This year’s honorary chairs are the Rothrock Family, in memory of the late Bruce L. Rothrock, Sr. Proceeds benefit the Bruce L. Rothrock Entrepreneurial Scholarship Fund.

Golfers and teams can register for the rescheduled tournament through Sept. 18. The registration fee includes green fees, cart, box lunch, dinner and a promotional gift. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25. Golfers will play a scramble format with a shotgun start at noon and conclude with an evening dinner reception and awards.

The dinner reception begins at 5 p.m. with a menu to include an iced seafood table, prime rib beef, chicken piccata and salmon. Those attending the dinner only must make reservations by Sept. 18.
