HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP: Heidelberg Church hosting Pa. Dutch buffet Sept. 9
Don’t miss it! On Sept. 9, Heidelberg Union Church, Church and Irving roads, in the Saegersville area, is having a family style “Pennsylvania Dutch Buffet” 4–6 p.m. in fellowship hall.
In addition to delicious sausage, chicken and filling, the meal includes bread, beverage and homemade desserts.

Time to change! Beginning Sept. 10, Heidelberg Lutheran worship service will take place at 8:30 a.m. with Pastor Ginny Goodwin.
Heidelberg UCC worship service will start 11 a.m. with Pastor Karen Yonney.
Sunday School will resume 9:45 a.m.

Happy hands! Requests for baked good donations for the Allentown Soup Kitchen are being made Sept. 11.
Baked goods made with chocolate will be gratefully accepted and may be dropped off 6-7 p.m. in fellowship hall.
According to Heidelberg Church Soup Kitchen Coordinator Linda Hausamann, 110 hot meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless at the soup kitchen.
The meal included hot dogs, soup, garden salad, sweet corn, cantaloupes, watermelon and peaches.
Special thanks to the volunteers of the day: Shirley Boger, Robin Koch, Barbara Matthias, Eleanor and Ron Klevenhagen and Linda Hausamann.

Fun finds! Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, is having a Sportsmen’s Swap Meet 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17. This event will be held rain or shine.
