Please note the guidelines for school lunch charges and refunds. For grades K-12, if a student’s lunch account balance is zero or negative, the student will be permitted to charge a lunch. All unpaid charges must be paid at the end of each week. Any unpaid charges may result in administrative and/or legal action necessary to collect delinquent accounts.

Parents/guardians, sign up at myschoolbucks.com to monitor your child’s lunch account balance and purchases. Parents/guardians can also set up a low-balance reminder by email. Simply download the ”myschoolbucks” app to your phone to be able to check lunch balances any time. The district will no longer be sending home low-balance envelopes.

Delinquent accounts may be turned over to the magisterial district judge.

WCSD believes daily attendance in school is an extremely important factor in your child’s success in their educational experience. The Pennsylvania Department of Education is monitoring attendance records in all Pennsylvania school districts.

Parents/guardians should plan vacation and travel time over the holidays or during periods when classes are not in session. Doctor appointments should be planned after the school day.

If your child is absent, a written note is required within three days with a specific reason, along with the parent’s/guardian’s signature. Failure to do so will make this day an illegal absence. After three illegal absences, you will receive a summons from the magistrate’s office.
