Twanika Dime Greer, 24, of Baltimore, Md., has been charged with alleged retail theft, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and simple assault following an incident at Victoria’s Secret, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown.
In an affidavit of probable cause filed Aug. 4, the following details were given regarding the theft.
On April 7, police were dispatched to Victoria’s Secret for a report of an armed robbery. The store manager said three African American females entered the store carrying large tote bags and began to load the bags full of approximately 100 items of merchandise.
The manager said she approached the females and asked if she could help them. One of the females replied, “better back off or you are going to get maced.”
The females exited the store without paying and headed toward an access door and hallway leading out of the South Mall.
Schuylkill Valley Sporting Goods employees saw the three women walk past their store carrying large tote bags full of merchandise. As the females approached a waiting black vehicle, one of the females said to them, “Don’t touch me or we will mace you.”
Greer is currently in Berks County Prison on a different charge.
