Where the girls are! On Aug. 28, Heidelberg Church’s Women of Faith group will meet 6 p.m. in fellowship hall. Women of all ages are welcome.

This grand group of ladies will get together to plan events for upcoming meetings.

In addition to a friend or two, bring along a covered dish to share and stay for a potluck supper.

Save the date! Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will be traveling Sept. 5 to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Kempton.

Those interested in attending should meet 11 a.m. at Heidelberg Church to car pool.

Remember, you do not have to be a Heidelberg Church member to participate.

Following the tour, this fun bunch of retirees will head back down the mountain and visit Wanamaker’s General Store, Kempton.

In addition to quality groceries, bulk food items, organic and locally grown produce, and arts and crafts items, the store also offers a delicious delicatessen of homemade sandwiches and deli items as well.

Forgotten Felines and Fidos is partnering with Blue Mountain Vineyards to host a wine tasting party 1-5 p.m. Sept. 23 at 6022 Mountain Road, Germansville.

There will be wine tasting, silent auction, light snacks, music and a chance to meet the animals.

Spread the word! Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, is having a huge Sportsmen’s Swap Meet 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 17.

All are invited to come out and enjoy lots of great deals, raffles and food. This event will be held rain or shine.

The Well-Armed Women of Berks and Lehigh chapters will be organizing this flea-market style swap meet.

Only Ontelaunee Club members will be permitted to rent tables to sell sports-related items.
