Bruce and Diana Hill, formerly of Heidelberg Township, gathered June 17 with family at Brickerville House, Lititz, to celebrate 60 years of marriage.

Their wedding took place at Egner Memorial Chapel, Muhlenberg College, Allentown, with the Rev. Dr. Russel Stine presiding.

Bruce retired from the Allentown Housing Authority as its director of social services and personnel.

Before that, he served the Lutheran Church in America as director of Christian education at congregations in Oreland, Montgomery County; Rockford, Ill.; and Massapequa Park, Long Island, New York.

Diana was a caseworker for Lehigh County Office of Children & Youth Services.

She was a representative for Lutheran Brotherhood, before being certified with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America as a deacon serving New Life Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, and retiring from Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She also served as a liaison to the Northern Lehigh Community with the Lehigh Valley Health Network’s MESH public health initiative.

The couple has two children, Adrian and Anita, wife of David Lear, and six amazing grandchildren.
