Weisenberg Lowhill Historical Society will host its quarterly meeting Aug. 22 at Leaser Lake. Take the entrance to the lake nearest Wanamakers.

Bring a covered dish and/or dessert as well as lawn chairs. The rest of the meal - meat, drinks, paper products, etc. - will be supplied. Meal begins at 6 p.m.

Speaker for the evening will be Carl Zvanut, trustee of Leaser Lake Heritage Foundation, who will present a history of the lake.
