STATE POLICE BEAT
State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for alleged traffic violations around 11:15 p.m. Aug. 13 on Route 100, Heidelberg Township.
Police say the driver, George Anthony Gosse, 58, of Philadelphia, allegedly had a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Charges were filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.
State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, responded around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 1 to the 6700 block of Madison St., New Tripoli.
Police allege Samantha Nicole Friel, 19, and Rebecca Ann Miller, 40, both of Lynn Township, engaged in a verbal argument, which allegedly turned physical when Miller pushed Friel and allegedly punched her in the head with a closed fist.
Friel allegedly punched Miller above the left eye causing a large laceration, bleeding and purple-color swelling.
She allegedly continued to punch Miller numerous times in the head and the two continued to fight.
Police say Friel was charged with simple assault and harassment. Miller was charged with harassment.
State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, responded to a report of public drunkenness just after 2 a.m. July 31 at the 9100 block of Danner Road, Weisenberg Township.
Todd Steven Fluck, 45, of Lenhartsville, was allegedly found intoxicated and sleeping on the back porch of a random house.
Police say Fluck did not know the home’s owner.
Charges were filed with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.
State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, are investigating an incident of access device fraud reported July 8 by a 51-year-old man from Lyon Valley Road, New Tripoli.
Police say the man’s debit card information was taken from an ATM skimmer and cash was withdrawn from ATMs.
Police allege a 22-year-old woman slapped a 32-year-old man on the back with an open hand. They also allege the man slapped the woman on the face with an open hand. Non-traffic citations were filed against both with District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.
