Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society, 4585 Werleys Corner Road, New Tripoli, will have its genealogy library open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 12. Wi-Fi is available. Bring a laptop or just come with a pad and pencil to research your family roots.

Bring a bag lunch and beverage, and enjoy the day.

Volunteers are available to assist you.

Ziegels Union Church will have its Fifth Ziegels Music and Drama Camp for kids who completed kindergarten, older youth and adults between 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 14-18.

The theme is “Jesus: His Life and Times.”

Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Company, 2500 Golden Key Road, Weisenberg Township, will be selling meat pies from Zooks beginning Aug. 10.

Deadline to order chicken, sausage, or beef pies in 9-inch or 6-inch sizes is Aug. 22.

Pickup is 4:30-6 p.m. Sept. 7.

Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, 22 Luckenbill Road, Kutztown, (adjacent to Kutztown University) will host the free Old Time Plow Boys Show 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 12 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 13.

Pedal pulls will be held 1:30 p.m. Children must be preregistered.

There will be homemade food and baked goods, vendors, local artisans and craftsmen, and an antique tractor and equipment parade,

Wagon rides, games and crafts will be available all day,
