The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office says a 63-year-old Neffs, North Whitehall Township man took his own life Aug. 5 at the Econo Lodge, 1151 Bulldog Lane, South Whitehall Township.

Grim said Galen G. Adams was pronounced dead 1:43 p.m. that day by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Richard Pender at the motel. Grim ruled the manner of Adams’ death a suicide.

According to his obituary, Adams was employed at The Neffs Hotel for many years. Before that, he was a welder.
