According to information provided by Cetronia Ambulance Corps Director of Marketing and Public Relations Jennifer Glose, a Cetronia Ambulance Corps unit was involved in a motor vehicle accident around 2 p.m. Aug. 5.
Cetronia Ambulance Corps Chief Operating Officer Robert Mateff Sr. commented on the crash.
“Our foremost concern is with the wellbeing of those involved in the incident,” Mateff said. “The EMT driver was treated and released from the hospital and the passenger paramedic was checked at the scene and not transported to the hospital.
“The unit was not responding to a call and was driving to Cetronia’s headquarters on Broadway in South Whitehall Township.
“The accident is under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police. Our thoughts are with all parties involved.”
