This was another awesome week at Camp Jefferson! Week seven was filled with lots of laughs and excitement. Monday was filled with a few intense games, including the crowd favorites Dodgeball and Handball.
Tuesday, our campers hopped on the bus to Dutch Springs. The day was filled with lots of climbing, jumping and swimming.
All this exercise made Wednesday morning a little tiring. Our sore campers enjoyed our weekly craft this week, henna, which showed us how artistic they really are. After lunch, our campers played a few relaxed games of Knockout and Capture the Flag.
On Thursday, we participated in a large game of Kickball and had a Handball tournament in the morning. After lunch, the campers completed a few team-building activities.
As Friday rolled around, our campers strolled in with their rock star looks. This was the theme of the week. We had many different rockers running through the playground that day, including counselor Tyler, who brought in his electric guitar.
Fastest “It” in the West, Manhunt and Jail Break were also played throughout the week.
Thankfully, the rain this week did not stop our pool time.
With week seven coming to a close, we announced Camp J-Street’s Campers of the Week - Justin W. and Sam K.
Hope to see everyone next week!
