Week six at Camp Cementon flew by! The weather wasn’t the best, but the campers made the most of it. We started the week off by playing fun games such as Jump the River, Pacman and Dodgeball. These games are some of the campers’ all-time favorites. The kids also love playing Silent Ball, which is a versatile game that can be played indoors or outdoors.
On Wednesday, we traveled to Easton for our field trip to The Crayola Experience. All of the campers had a blast, and everyone left with goody bags full of fun toys. While they were there, the campers got tokens to use for a variety of things, including markers, Model Magic and a customized crayon machine. Wednesday also was Chad’s birthday, and he was nice enough to bring in cookies for the kids to help celebrate. Happy birthday, Chad!
Throughout the week, the campers also have enjoyed tie-dyeing T-shirts and customizing them to their own individual style. Several campers decided to use a rainbow of colors, while some stuck to a select color palette. We think they all look awesome, and even the counselors got in on the fun.
We wrapped up our week with exciting games such as Jump the River and Four Corners. The campers also enjoyed their time at the pool this week, and some campers were excited to finally pass their swim test!
Our campers of the week were Jessica C. and Elijah F. These campers displayed excellent manners and always followed the rules.
We hope everyone had a great week at camp, and we can’t wait to see everyone next week!
