Upper Macungie Township police are presenting National Night Out 5-8 p.m. Aug. 1 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.
This free event will take place rain or shine.
There will be amusement rides, rock wall, moon bounces and a super slide, tractor trailer demonstrations, NFL “Big Rig” simulator, police, fire and EMS vehicle displays, food vendors, photo booth, Dunk a Cop, face painting, caricatures, fire department smoke house simulator, T-shirt sales, child safety seat inspections and police K-9 demos.
This nationwide event celebrates the partnership between the police department and the community.
There will be pay vendors for food and drink, however, there will also be a free hot dog and water giveaway.
Kona Ice and Trixie’s Treats Cupcakes will be available for purchase.
Organizations participating include the Pennsylvania National Guard, C.E.R.T., S.A.D.D., Wildlands Conservancy and Impact Project.
