HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP H.A.R.P. members to visit Pa. German Cultural Center
Calling all retirees! Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will be traveling Aug. 1 to the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, Kutztown.
Those interested in attending should meet 11 a.m. at Heidelberg Church to car pool or they may travel alone and meet there.
The Heritage Center is a restored working Pa. German farm site, complete with a one-room schoolhouse and museum depicting life in this area during the 18th and 19th centuries.
Remember, you do not have to be a Heidelberg Church member to participate.

With Heidelberg Union Church in mind, the public is invited to attend one or both of the summertime worship services beginning 8:30 a.m. with UCC Pastor Karen Yonney and at 10:15 a.m. with Lutheran Pastor Ginny Goodwin.
All are welcome to come and take pleasure the faith and fellowship.

Plan ahead! On Aug. 20, Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, invites the public to come to its annual picnic starting at noon.
Held rain or shine, all ranges will be closed during this fun, family event.
In addition to entertainment provided by DJ Brian Keith, there will be lots of great food and games for the entire family to enjoy.

Heidelberg Union Church recycles ink cartridges to help with the cost of supplies for its office.
Each cartridge provides the church with $2 credit.
If you have any old cartridges you want to get rid of, bring them to the church and drop them in one of the boxes marked recycled ink cartridges.
