A Montgomery County man died of natural causes in a traffic accident in Upper Milford Township July 14.

In a media release from the Lehigh County Office of the Coroner and Forensic Center, officials announced an autopsy completed July 14 revealed Robert W. Rutty, 55, of Perkiomenville, died of natural causes.

Rutty, according to authorities, was the operator of a tractor trailer which left the roadway and struck a retaining wall in the 4200 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, around 6:36 a.m. July 14.

Rutty was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:19 a.m.

The accident also was investigated by Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
