Friends of the Parkland Library will be hosting it 27th annual book sale 9 a.m.-7 p.m. July 28 and 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. July 29 at St. Joseph the Worker Center, 1879 Applewood Road, Orefield.

Bag day will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 30.

They will be accepting book donations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. between July 24-26 at St. Joseph the Worker Center.

They will be accepting donations of hardcover and paperback books, games, video games, puzzles, CDs and DVDs only.

No textbooks, Reader’s Digests, magazines, encyclopedias, VHS tapes or law books will be accepted.

Temple Beth El Men’s Club 10th annual “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” IronPigs event will be 7:05 p.m. Aug. 8 at Coca-Cola Park, 1050 IronPigs Way, Allentown.

Kosher Tailgate Party, which includes burgers, hot dogs, sausages, veggie options and soft drinks will be offered 5-6:30 p.m.

Tailgate is not included in price of game ticket. A freewill donation is requested.
