Artwork on display in Northwestern Lehigh boardroom

Northwestern Lehigh’s School Board honored six students from the middle school for their artwork on display in the board meeting room.

Teacher Jennifer Bernhard introduced the artists and said they were chosen for their ethic of excellence.

“They are all on different steps to the journey of excellence,” she said. “Some are just beginning to learn the meaning of failure. Yes, I said failure.

“To some it means time to give up but to others it means try again.

“Instead of good enough it means what can make it better.

Bernhard said the works of art and the students who created them bring her to tears.

She told the students there will always be someone to support them as they improve their ethic of excellence.

Superintendent Mary Anne Wright gave each student a certificate and thanked the parents for bringing the students to the school.
