Favorite subject: Math is my favorite, because it is straightforward; there is always a concise answer and it is very interesting!
Activities: Young Life, cross country (captain), I played the tuba and was treasurer of the Freedom HS Patriot Band, I was captain of merchandise for BASD Mini-THON, Student Athletic Council representative
Next steps: Attending college after spending a year traveling/volunteering
Career goals: Neonatal nurse practitioner
Heroes: My Young Life leaders because they have shown me unconditional love and what it means to lead a beautiful life
Hobbies: Puzzles, art projects, hiking, babysitting, listening to music, reading, hanging out with friends/siblings
Current job(s): Babysitter (nanny in the summer), employed at the Gem Shop on Main Street
Volunteer/community work: I spent a month volunteering at a Young Life camp in New York where I worked in the kitchen and served meals. I am a volunteer Sunday school teacher at First Presbyterian Church and in the Youth Ministry during the summer.
Likes: Popcorn, yellow, running, laughing, babies, summer, the lake, bracelets, dancing, sunsets, rain, swimming, smoothies
Dislikes: Being idle, mayonnaise, people fighting, disorganization, writing essays
Greatest accomplishment (so far): The month I spent serving at Young Life camp
Advice for peers: Put your trust in God…a little kindness goes a long way…do what you are passionate about, not what others want.
