Last week, Camp Cementon hosted numerous activities that the campers really enjoyed.
On Monday, we started off the day with an hour of free time. After that, the campers played Ant Tag with extended boundaries. The next activity was Silent Ball indoors due to the heat.
After the campers took a brief break, we took them back outdoors to play Dodgeball, which they really enjoyed. While we were still on the basketball courts, we played two games of Pac Man.
After lunch, the campers headed to the pool for the remainder of the day. We played Keep Away with the kids from Camp Jefferson.
On Tuesday, the campers played Human Pinball indoors. Various campers went to swim lessons after that game, so the remainder of the children played Dodgeball on the basketball courts. Once all of the campers were together again, we played a few intense games of Spud outside.
On Wednesday, we started off the day with free time again, combining both camps for a basketball tournament. After that, we played Dodgeball outdoors and then moved inside to play Red Light Green Light.
After that, it was time for the field trip to Game Changer World in Allentown. The campers enjoyed various activities there. The field trip took up a good amount of the afternoon, so there wasn’t time for the pool once we returned to camp.
On Thursday, we played Ant Tag outside, but the heat moved us back indoors for a few games of Night at the Museum. Some campers then went to swim lessons, and others played Fastest in the West and Dodgeball. After lunch, all campers went to the pool for the remainder of the afternoon.
Friday began with free time indoors because of the weather. We also played Silent Ball with Camp Jefferson. Campers then watched a movie due to the rainy weather.
