State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, and Sen. Pat Browne, R-16th, will partner with The Ben Event to host a special needs awareness day 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 15 at Macungie Memorial Park, 50 N. Poplar St.

The event is an opportunity for people of the Lehigh Valley to learn more about service and programs available to the special needs community from local, state and federal resources. Dozens of providers will be on hand to offer information and answer questions.

Special Needs Awareness Day is sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation.
