Robert J. Soldridge Sr., 84, of Slatington, died July 8, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Seyfried) Soldridge for 56 years.

Born in North Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Frank and Angela (Bult) Soldridge Sr.

He was employed by the former Beatrice Cheese for 13 years until he retired.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Scott and his wife Maria of Slatington and Stephen and his companion Donna of Nesquehoning; a brother, Paul and his wife Marie of Coplay; six grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Heath McDonald, Kristen, Scott Jr., Stephen Jr., Arielle and Heidi; four great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Robert J. Jr.; and three brothers, William, Jimmy and Frank Jr.
