HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP: H.A.R.P. taking road trip Pa. German Cultural Heritage Center

Lesson learned! On July 16, Heidelberg Union Church’s Vacation Bible School’s closing program will be presented 10:15 a.m. during the union worship service.

Everyone is encouraged to come and show their support to all of the wonderful and faithful children and teachers.

Open invitation! A friendship hour on the porch of Heidelberg Church continues through the summer Sundays following the 8:30 a.m. UCC worship service.

Why not stay a bit longer and enjoy some food with lots of fellowship?

To host this enjoyable time of friendship or to bake a batch of something sweet to eat, sign-up on the sheet in the narthex or call the church office at 610-767-4740 for further information.

Plan ahead! Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will be taking another interesting road trip Aug. 1 to the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center in Kutztown.

Those interested in attending should meet at Heidelberg Church at 11 a.m. to car pool or they may travel alone and meet there.

The Heritage Center is a restored working Pa. German farm site, complete with a one room school house and museum portraying life in this area during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Remember, you do not have to be a Heidelberg Church member to participate.
