Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will be celebrating Dino Day July 9.
There will be hands-on interactive experiences and dinosaur themed activities, daily keeper talks and up close encounters with animals during the Wonders of Wildlife encounters featuring some prehistoric characters.
Farm Fest at the zoo will be July 15 and 16.

National Zoo Keeper Appreciation Week is July 17-21 but the Zoo will be celebrating it from July 16-22.
Each day will put the spotlight on a different keeper or educator.

The Zoo is hosting a Jimmy Buffet-themed Zoo in Paradise event July 8. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Parrot Beach will be performing 6:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. playing all of Buffett’s hits.
This age 21-and-over event will feature food, beer, wine, animal encounters, raffles and free prize giveaways plus great music all night long.
Jungle Journeys Bugs Camp for 6- to 8-year-olds and Roos Camp for 9- to 11-year-olds will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 10-14.
Campers will take a walk on the wild side with the zoo’s jungle themed summer camp which will focus mainly on the rain forest ecosystem and how important rain forests are to the entire planet.
They will meet some of the coolest rain forest animals that live at the Zoo.
Campers will learn what kinds of threats currently face the rain forest and things they can do to help save such a valuable habitat.
Campers will learn about marine and freshwater ecosystems through fun activities and even talk about water pollution in the environment and ways they can help our aquatic friends.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will host a penny party July 14.
Doors open 5:30 p.m. Games start at 7 p.m.
