HILLSIDE SCHOOL

The Hillside School has announced the appointment of Stacy K. Shillinger as its director of development.

In her position, Shillinger will develop and implement alumni relations and fundraising programs for the school, including leadership giving, grant writing and corporate support. She also will lead planning efforts for the school’s two annual signature scholarship fundraising events; The Hillside School dinner dance and the golf classic.

Shillinger joins The Hillside School from Lehigh University, where she most recently served as senior director of university and advancement events.

Shillinger has more than 20 years of fundraising and donor relations experience, working at both Lehigh University and PBS39/WLVT. She joins the Hillside faculty and staff with a strong belief in and passion for the Hillside mission to maximize the potential of children with learning disabilities through excellence in education.

The Hillside School, located in Macungie, is an independent K-8 school for students with language-based learning disabilities that serves children from nine counties and 22 school districts. The Hillside School is accredited through the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
