Friday marked the end of an exciting second week at Camp Whitehall. Camp Cementon traveled to Fullerton to join the older campers due to the Cement Belt Fair. They had a blast!
The week started off with competitive games of Dodgeball and Kickball, both of which are all-time favorites. The two camps then teamed up for a fun game of Capture the Flag and ended the day with Disney’s “Moana,” due to the pool being closed.
The campers had a lot of energy on Tuesday, so they played Silent Ball and Sleeping Lions to help the kids relax.
On Wednesday, we traveled to Two T’s Golf in Easton to play indoor mini golf. The campers loved all of the drawings on the wall as well as the glow-in-the-dark lighting. They finished off the trip with some Italian ice and soft-serve ice cream.
The following day, the weather was beautiful, so we played games outside all day long. The campers loved the new game Mr. Fox, which is a spinoff of Red Rover. We also played Seek and Hide, which is reverse Hide and Seek, and then completed our craft of coloring baseball hats. The kids were so creative!
Camp Cementon ended the week with an exciting game of Jail Break against Camp Jefferson. The campers thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the other camp this week.
Our Campers of the Week were Luke and Kaleigh, who displayed excellent behavior during the week. We had a great time, and we are excited to get back to Cementon next week!
