Sam Kennedy has joined the St. Luke’s University Health Network Marketing Department, where he has assumed the role of corporate communications and media relations director.

Previously, Kennedy worked at The Morning Call, most recently covering the health beat.

Kennedy moved to the Lehigh Valley in 2003. Before that, he lived in the Bay Area of California, where he worked in the software industry before switching to journalism.

He served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa.

Kennedy received undergraduate degrees in general business finance and journalism from UMass-Amherst, and a master’s in journalism from UC Berkeley.
