ALBRIGHT COLLEGE

Angela Turczyn, of Alburtis, an Albright College sophomore mathematics/secondary education major recently was honored as an by the Reading School District for helping to create a large-scale mural project at Reading Intermediate High School.

Turczyn was one of several Albright students, who are members of the student chapter of the Pennsylvania State Education Association, who were honored at the school district’s recognition reception for helping to create red and black murals on each floor of the school. The murals contain inspiring messages about goals, drive and legacy.

The project was a collaborative effort with Reading Intermediate, the eastern region of PSEA and students from Albright, Kutztown University and Penn State Berks.
