The Northampton and Lehigh Valley 4-H Ag Explorers day camp for Lehigh Valley youth ages eight to 16 will be held 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 17 through 21 at St John’s U.C.C., 577 Grape St., Whitehall.

This five-day camp is geared to teach youth about specific Farm to Table topics such as Propagation to Plate, Delightful Dairy, Meet the Meat, Value Added Products and Farmers Market Madness.

There is a cost. Childcare is available (cost) 8 to 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 4 p.m. The registration deadline is July 1. If you are interested in registering or would like more information, call 610-391-9840 or email kxh5296@psu.edu.

BETHLEHEM

The City of Bethlehem has announced the Fourth of July city center and East Church Street area activities.

The Bethlehem Municipal Band will perform a free concert 7:30 p.m. July 4 featuring patriotic music and old favorites at the City Center Plaza. The annual fireworks display will begin 9 p.m. July 4 from Sand Island. The rain date will be July 5.

Sand Island east will be closed beginning noon July 4 to facilitate fireworks preparations.
