Margaret Koons, 78, of Fogelsville, died on June 25, 2017, in Luther Crest Nursing Center, South Whitehall.

She and her husband Arthur E. Koons were married 34 years in January.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ermina (Gomes) Ferreire.

She was an office manager and bookkeeper for Rema Management Systems, Allentown, for 37 years.

She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church, Allentown.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, John Schrader and wife, Ceris, of Bryans Road, Md. and Steve Schrader and wife, Diedre, of Chantilly, Va.; stepdaughters, Debra Orwan and husband, David, of Bethlehem, Sandra Foulds and husband, Thomas, of Macungie, and Ruthann Snyder of Krumsville; brother Anthony Ferreire and wife, Dottie, of Allentown; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by a son Phillip Schrader.
